Camp Lejeune MCB, N.C.

Strangely enough I found Camp Lejeune much better after I retired lol. I appreciate it a ton more. Lived and worked on this base for 14 out of my 20 years. A ton of memories here.

I really enjoy Onslow Beach, and the facilities for the most part are in good order. However, I live in French Creek and about 2 mornings out of the week, the poop plant starts off on full swing... makes morning runs not fun

We recently purchased our first Travel Trailer and have stayed here twice already. Easy to get in and out of. Store fully stocked and clean. Beach is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Quiet at night and endless sky views. Price is right!

I hate this place

Great military installation with plenty amentities to service military members on and off base. Great base theater that shows movies in theaters sometimes before they release to the public. Bowling alley is the best in town and there's even a beach exclusive to those with base access!
