Cedar Point Campground

My family and I are camping in tents not rv's. The primitive camp grounds are beautiful with stunning views. Its a quiet place without a ton of tourists and rowdy people (which the 6 of us are all THANKFUL FOR!!!!)

Permanent “Campground Full” sign at entrance is really poor! Inside multiple sites with Open signs and “see host”nnTrash dumpster piled high and overflowing. Otherwise nice spacious sites.

Great place, many open sites, electric only but level and lomg spaces.

Love this campground. Come here 2-3 times a year. We bike ride around the grounds, down to the boat ramp and walk the nature trail. In the summer we kayak from the boat ramp to Swansboro. The new hosts this weekend were very nice.

The park is a jewel in the woods, close to Swansboro and Emerald Isle for easy access to to shopping, beach and restaurants. The RV sites are well maintained and clean the bath house and restrooms while old are okay for what they were designed for and the Camp hosts are great to work with.
