Cabin Lake County Park

I love to walk in the woods. This park is a lovely place to explore. It was not crowded at all on the day we visited. There are tall pines and a lovely creek-fed pond. It looks like a great place to kayak.

Pretty big for a county park and does charge an admission ( 3 bucks for a county resident, 4 bucks for a non).nReally big lake that sits well off the road so it's nice and quiet. First stop was the office at the entrance. Many pictures of catches on the wall with some pretty impressive fish from their respective species..nThe park also has a couple of tent area's and room for RVs and tow behinds but wouldn't recommend going to large(check with the park first).nAlso has a paved boat ramp, some hiking trails and a couple of fishing piers.nSince I only live 12 miles away, I'm gonna be spending a lot of time there.

This place is beautiful and so peaceful! I walked the trail around the lake and enjoyed all of the scenery. Clean and nice place to get away from stress!

Cabin lake is a wonderful friendly park. The workers here go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They even deliver firewood right to your campsite. Its nice quiet place to camp.

Beautiful lake, good camping area, plenty of bathrooms and some are heated with showers!
