White Oak River Campground

My wife two pugs an I had an a I had an awesome time the staff was really helpful and hang on. We will definitely be back . It’s your mom an pops camp ground not the big money ones that are hard to deal with. Fishing was awesome an floating down the river was great. Bathroom an showers we so clean almost wanted to use there’s instead of ours witch we did on several occasions. The permanent residence were welcoming an helpful as well. The campground is relatively close to Jacksonville and Camp Lejuene if your looking to get out of the city. Theres stores and places to eat real close by in case you forgot any necessities and the the campground is a good place to spend the day fishing on the White Oak River. The place is clean and the staff have always been super friendly and helpful to accommodate your needs. We will definitely keep coming here.

My family and I stayed here for a little over two weeks. We truly enjoyed it. We arrived a day early and thought we'd have to figure something out. Called the campground and John arranged for us to get In right away. There are ponds and two lakes that are great for fishing. And even if you aren't a fisherman/woman the trail leading by the water is tranquil. My dog and I enjoyed it often. This campground is far from luxurious but the people and the setting makes it a diamond in the rough ud83dude09. My children made friends, I had meaningful conversations. The luxury campgrounds have their place but this is really camping. I will stay again when I return to see family in the area. Greenbook score 10 out of 10!

The White Oak River Campground sits on a beautiful piece of property and houses my all time favorite disc golf course. 36 diverse holes that are fun for all skill levels. There are also several great fishing holes around the property with kayaks and canoes available for rent. This is a fun, family friendly environment with plenty of activities for the young and old! I can't think of any place I'd rather spend my money or time.

The campground should be called a trailer park. Grass was high a d red ants ate my feet up. No sites by river only by road. I saw only two sites. The rest were full timers. Not a place to stay unless you need a place for the night. The manager was nice and helpful. I would not stay again. All the permanent kids came to our site. They were nice but we enjoy peace and quietnDidn't have the heart to tell them to leave until we went to bed. Road too close.
