Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Went to grab a bite to eat after a long day of work with a friend and walked in to sit for awhile without being acknowledged or talked to at all by a single employee. As we waited we scanned the napkin holder to see the virtual menu and sat long enough to put together an order. Then we say and looked around going someone would at least notice us. We had a few glanced by employees, but nothing else. I have been to multiple Hwy55 establishments and always have gotten better service, but this time I walked out and I don't even think anybody noticed. The place had four tables with customers and maybe one or two at the register. We should have gotten better service than this especially since there were more than enough employees on the floor to at least acknowledge our existence. I will never return to this location again! Very disappointed!

Sanitation rating is 83.5. It doesn’t appear to be very clean inside. There was a spray bottle on its side on the floor to the right as soon as I walked in. Trash on the floor.nnThe staff are friendly, but also seem to be several high school kids who just don’t seem to really care. Didn’t appear to be super busy, although I got an order to go.nnEdit:nMy wife had a hair in her salad and the fries in the kids meal were greasy and soggy. I’m moving my original rating of two stars down to one star.nnThis place also needs a cleaning stand down day. I won’t be eating here anymore.

My family and I loved it! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely our waitress was super sweet and made sure we glad everything we wanted/needed. I would so recommend you go there, the scenery! I love old fashioned stuff and this restaurant is my favorite!!

Margaret was an amazing server. She's super sweet and services your table with a smile at all times. The food was good, the lemonade was delicious ud83dude0b She made great recommendations and was friendly to our daughter. Only problems were iffy onion rings, a bit too crispy and no ice cream. Margaret and the other girl there were so friendly and attentive to our needs. Definitely coming back to this location!

Great experience, the staff was super friendly and everybody was wearing a mask. As a health care worker, I really appreciated that. The food was fresh and hot. I recommend the pimento cheeseburger!
