Positive Review of waitress Macy at Waffle House #1369 New Bern NCnnOn Sat. 4/10/2021, I had breakfast at this location. When I get exceptional service, I like to make the time to compliment deserving people.nMacy cleaned the table efficiently and even returned to remove excessive water left (something they often forget/ignore).nShe took my order professionally and even made suggestions (unusual).nShe followed up a few times to warm coffee and allow me to add a later bacon order which was quickly delivered.nI need to mentioned that this extra service attention occurred close to 12 noon while they had guests waiting for seating.nNOTE: I don't know this lady and have no affiliation with the Waffle Housenorganization or anyone at this location.

Usually a good place to eat, but this morning was horrid.nnWe come in to find tables dirty from previous customers, and the sole waitress just standing at the register. Normally, this would be fine, she finishing up whatever, but in this case, she just stands there and ignores us. We eventually have to ask the cook to clear a spot for us after waiting 5-10min. Waitress finally moves and takes our order. The coffee my grandfather asks for is cold, and she ignores our call for a replacement cup thats hot.nn20min later, she comes back... And asked for our order! She'd forgotten our first order or something.nnCue another 20min wait, only to find our food had been done for 10min now, and the waitress had once more forgotten us. The cook once more had to do the waitress's job for her, and brought us our food. The food had begun to cool and it was missing all the fixings we'd asked for.nnAt that point, we just took what we had, having an appointment with a doctor in an hour, and not wanting to wait another 30-40 min at the rate we were having with the waitress.nnMy grandfather never did get his replacement cup of coffee.

,Great food but you can forget about ordering ahead for take out. Multiple times I've tried calling in my order, no one answers and they don't have a soul in the place and the employees are just sitting outside. If they ever wonder why they don't make any money at this location during late night, that's why. Once they told us they weren't allowed to take large orders and by large order I'm talking for 4 adults.

Deff hit the spot. Food come out quick! Service is typically spot on but seems alot of training going on lately!

I walked in people was seated they told me it was takeout only so I walked to the register and asked for a menu the girl standing there acted like she didnt hear me and I stood there awkwardly for like 3 mins and she didn't even ask me how she could help me so I just walked out. Good luck getting decent customer service there.
