Eaten here a few times now. Great portions, reasonable prices, and good food. Quiet place on the weekday to enjoy a nice meal.
The food was good, but only after reheating everything seeing how they failed to give me the most important part of my order the (flour tortillas). I called to let them know that I was on my way to get them. I explained to the manager what had happened and that I had called, and still had to wait over 10 mins once I got there. I feel that was unacceptable having to make a 2nd trips after spending over $33. there. Bad customer service!!
Chips and salsa hit the table as soon as we sat down. The chips had the texture as if they had been cooked last week and the salsa was bland and nearly flavorless. This is usually my first gage when I eat Mexican food. I ordered the steak an chicken fajitas that arrived shortly after. The quick arrival was certainly due to the veggies and meat tasting and looking like they were precooked and not prepared to order. The fajitas were not sizzling on a hot metal plate like another Mexican restaurant I've eaten at, they veggies had no char, soggy and colorless. The meat had the texture of shoe leather and dish had zero seasoning.
Atmosphere is great of course. Wait staff nice. BUT food is bland, unfortunately, and not that good. There are WAY better Mexican restaurants in Greensboro. -stay away!
Ive got a cool 3.5 stars for this restaurant bc their food isn't bad at all. It's the ppl/service that throws it off for me. They have the same good Mexican cuisine as other restaurants in the area. They are kind of petty though. I ordered here multiple nights over a weeks time. Its like they got annoyed with getting my order right as each thing I asked for, they had a small fee for, that wasn't the same each time. I thought it would be the opposite, as I drove 15 min and spent $40+ each visit. I ordered with same name and was happy with driving out of my way to get their food. Each time, the price went up and the food quality went down. Haven't order for 2 weeks now, found somewhere closer that taste the same and the price is the same as well. Feel they didn't appreciate my business, they just kind of dealt with it bc I was a retuning customer. Na, that's now how it works, I'm good n found someone else that appreciates my business. I run my own business and know how customers think. Take note
