Fidelity Bank

About one year ago I started working with Fidelity Bank to obtain a Paycheck Protection Plan loan for my church which is a long-time customer of Fidelity. The branch manager, Pam Rooker, was absolutely wonderful to work with. The entire experience went smoothly including the forgiveness process. The bank was there to guide me every step of the way. I have never had a more pleasant banking experience in my life. Oxford, NC is fortunate to have a full-service branch of Fidelity Bank. I highly recommend their services.

Great bank I enjoy having them support and guide me with all my company business. I will be recommending this bank to everyone I meet. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The best bank in the Oxford area.

I went in to this bank 1-14-21 Between 12:00 and 1:00. I went in to cash a check that my dad gave me. Handed the check and my I.D. The lady that was helping me acted as if she was struggling to put something in and called another lady over. The lady that was helping me said she had to call my dad to confirm that he did write a check and for how much. It was only $1000. The lady says if it’s over a certain amount we have to call. I told her that was fine. I’ve never had a Fidelity Bank do this but I completely understand this. The lady that she called over to help asked me did I just move here? I said no. My dad answers right away, confirm he wrote the check and for how much. Okay so we should be good right?? The lady that was called over then goes to ask me after the check was confirmed, She asked me something along the lines of why did I come so far just to cash a check? I politely told her we are doing a job in this area. I guess she was paying attention to my address on the ID and knew it wasn’t close(about an hour and a half from here) But if she was looking the last name on my dads check is also my last name(I.D) I could see them asking a teenager, but I am in my 30s. just really upset me that there was questions still being asked after the check was confirmed from my dad. I understand calling and making sure that the check was accurate but please find another way then to make people feel like a criminal for cashing a $1000 check. Thanks!

I have been banking with Fidelity Bank for 20 years and I love all these sweet ladies. You won't find kinder and more helpful people. They make banking here a pleasure! Keep up the wonderful work ladies!
