Jeff is great and the building has some great machines for morning workouts. The environment is good and doesn't feel judgmental (at least at 6 in the morning). I look forward to going here every morning (even though it kicks my butt). 10/10
Open with adjustments for covid. Offers top notch equipment, nice pool, an indoor walking track,child care plus a sauna and steam room for both men's and women's locker room.
They are opening gradually and with lots of precautions to prevent virus spread. Call in before you go. The schedule is limited, but there are very few people inside, which is ideal for physical distancing and a mask is required in all areas, except in the pool itself, of course.
I called to get a membership when the stay at home band was lifted and they said the only stuff open was pool yoga n child care :/ so I asked if I got a membership would it be discounted since the thing that I wanted it for (gym) wasn't open, they said NO! Mind blown, really YMCA even car insurance gave customers a break during this band! So while people are loosing their jobs, getting laid off, getting deathly ill the YMCA refuses to loose out on their $$$$ and are and have been charging people FULL PRICE without a care in the world! Great community spot, really nice YMCA...
Friendly and helpful staff; clean facility; well appointed exercise room (free weights and machines); racquetball!!!
