I just moved to New Bern and wanted to find a good quality men’s barber. I checked the reviews and took a chance and it definitely paid off. My father and I both went in and Carly cut our hair. She was great, she was Rey nice and helped with suggestions and did a fantastic job on both our hair. It’s the only place I’ll go from now on. Ask for Carly

Brittany does an absolutely amazing job cutting my son’s hair, which requires clippers as well as some scissor work, with a fade, and he always looks good! Brittany has been working with him for a long time and never once has he had a bad trim. I followed Brittany from where she used to work to here, since finding someone who does a good job on hair is hard to find, and Modern Men Barber Company is just as amazing as she is! Very friendly, very comfortable. My son refuses to go anywhere else! If you are looking for someone who will listen to what you want and give you a great experience, go see Brittany!

First time at MM barber Co. and Carly hooked me up with a fresh fade! Talking to her and explaining what I wanted felt natural. She was very proactive and offered a few styling suggestions that I personally liked. I’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I took our two year son to Modern Men and for a haircut one day on a whim. We were pretty apprehensive because our son is one of those ‘freak out, scream and cry as soon as he sees a pair clippers’ kind of kid. He’s been getting his hair cut for about a year and a half now, and he would flip out every single time. However, when he got his haircut at Modern amen for the very first time, he did GREAT! It was unbelievable. Carlie and her friend did a great job and they were so sweet and careful with our son. They did so good, he didn’t even cry!!! This is a big deal because he’s NEVER gotten a haircut without a completely flipping out. So from now on, we only take him here. My husband and I hope you guys come here too. You won’t regret it! ☺ufe0f

My barber does an awesome job. There are several TVs with football playing on each of them. The only knock on this place that it usually has lots of degenerate Marines in there on the weekend. If you’re a 8999, I recommend going elsewhere as you will certainly have an aneurysm after seeing all of the grooming and dress violations.
