River Creek Camp Ground

Great hideaway campground. No cell signal and nice clean sites. Tent camping right on the river is perfect.

Definitely don’t recommend. They only want your money and don’t care about you. There are several other campgrounds in the area that are much better.

Do not give them your money! If zero was an option that is what would be given because that is what this owner deserves. There is no option to choose your own site when reserving, they refuse to give a refund under any circumstances. My husband called and specifically said we would call back to let her know if we would change the dates because that was the only option they gave, however she is trying to tell us he canceled it (which he did not). So she decided to cancel our dates without any communication at all and yelled at us telling us the current reservations were not available any longer. She rudely screamed at me on the phone discussing this situation telling me she’s trying to eat dinner and to call during regular business hours etc. If they don’t want to handle customer concerns after hours then don’t answer the phone. Their business hours are not even posted on their website. It’s not the customer’s fault by calling the business phone to have them answer. They clearly do not care about their customers and I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere!

This is a great family campground where friendships are made. Facilities are clean and kids can enjoy a playground and small arcade. Riverfront sites and swimming/tubing help make your time at River Creek Campground a memorable and family fun experience.

What a perfect summer camping spot especially with kids! They gave us a great spot with a canopy over our site and a lovely deck sitting over the water. Kids played in water from 130-8pm and got right back in in the morning. They made tons of friends. The owners went above and beyond to answer questions and help make it the best stay possible. Can't wait to go back :)
