K & M Collision

I was referred to K&M by a friend who was also very pleased with their repair experience. Even though they are 2.5 hrs away from me, I would absolutely use them again. My Model Y was damaged on the front end and driver side. They communicated frequently and regularly. Tina called me at least once a week to keep me updated on the progress of the repairs. I cannot stress how impressed I was with their professionalism, organization and communication. The outcome of the repairs was excellent. No matter what I may need repaired in the future, I'll make the trip up to them.

I am the happy owner of a Tesla model S which was involved in a minor, very minor, side-swipe. Since this is a shout-out for K&M, I will not go off on any rants about how long Tesla takes to send out parts, and how seemingly lousy they pack the parts that they do send out. Warning to Tesla owners...body work on Tesla's is difficult and not like any of the dozen or so cars I have owned. Minor issues to the rear sides of the car can be MAJOR work, and the parts take a long time from Tesla.nnOkay, this is about K&M... I will first say that they did a fantastic repair job, on what turned out to be extensive work. The paint was perfectly matched, and the car is like new. The customer liaisons (in my case Adrian and Tina) kept me updated on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for the entirety of the job. When I noticed a small programming/calibration problem after I accepted the car and drove it 100 miles back to my house, K&M came with a flatbed truck, delivered me a loaner car, and took my car back to Hickory at no cost to me.nnBottom line is that the customer service is every bit as good as the quality of the work they perform, and the facility is basically best described as a hospital OR with respect to cleanliness and orderliness. As a small business owner myself, I wish my workplace was as tip top perfect as this body shop. No offense to the owner, but he/she is clearly OCD, but in this case it is a great benefit to the customer. If I had another accident in any of my vehicles, I would return to K&M for the repairs. if I have another accident in my Tesla (and to all Tesla owners within 300 miles of Hickory), trust me...BRING YOUR CAR TO K&M for any body work.

An exceptional experience from beginning to end! Tina did an incredible job keeping me informed as to the progress of my repair. Jeff, the delivery driver was kind, courteous and kept me up to date as to the time he would arrive. Adrian did a great job with the initial contact with the collision center. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful business!

I dealt with Tina Walling, and holy cow did she know her stuff. She was very helpful and answered every question I had and some that I didn’t even know I needed to ask. She’s really on top of it. Very professional. My car was ruled a total loss, which I was happy about because I was wanting to buy a truck! Now on to bigger and better things! K&M Collision as a Tesla certified repair facility is one of the best. The prompt communication, help with insurance, clear processes, and overall amazing customer service.
