This is sculpture is a fine example of why Mel Chin is such an inspiring and thought provoking artist.

Profound piece of art! So glad to be a native to Asheville, lover of art and blessed enough to be able to make it down there to see it!

Okay I did not know this was here and I was working around 10 at night as an Uber Driver picking someone up when I come upon this large monstrosity against the night sky out of nowhere as a turn the corner. Might go see this during the day, might change my mind.

I just went to Asheville and went to see this. Such a disappointment! I only clicked on one star so that I could leave my opinion. Many travel sites show what the installation looked like when it was in NYC, which is very deceiving.nIn Asheville, it was placed on a weedy, VACANT LOT on a side street. It was a complete waste of time! The promoters and local art enthusiasts could at least go down there with a weed whacker and clean it up. Then, they put a huge COVID mask on the statue that made it look like a dog, not a woman.
