Hickory Regional Airport

My wife and I really enjoy the airport cafe. Both the food and the service are quite good. The menu isn't extensive, but everything on it is well prepared and appetizing. The prices are reasonable, too.nI've eaten in many small airport cafes over the years, but the Crosswind Cafe is easily the best one.

The FBO staff is very friendly, very attentive to your needs and accommodating. Fuel prices are good and the facility is very nice. If you’re just looking to pop in for lunch or just refuel. Highly recommended. And the coffee is always on. Thank you Hickory FBO. You guys are the best

I attended the Trump rally 2020 at Hickory Regional Airport.nIt was well organized, most staff members were nice.nPeople with handicaps or disabilities were pretty well taken care of.nThe average Joe's were too but many ended up walking a long way to get to the rally point, which you could tell was hard on a lot of people. I think more people came to support our President Trump than they thought would be there. So many people in fact that people were in the parking lot watching large screen tvs because they couldn't get close.nAt the end however, total pandemonium. People tired from standing all day, grouchy from being bumped into all day. Many people scavenging through all the items left at the gate because you were not allowed to bring anything into the rally, like cigarettes, vaps etc. Walking over and through trash left at the gates we had to walk through to get out.nBut in all with so many people, I really don't think they could have done any better. Everyone, for the most part was nice, only a couple of guys were on a power trip, one was leading a section to the right of the podium, wish I had gotten his name because he was so rude, even yelling at a child that stepped 5 foot away from his parents, telling him to (git back over thare) sorry I can not spell the slang correctly lol. He was also rude to adults, just wasn't professional at all.nOver all awesome, memorable, event!
