I love this place because I live around here but damnit it gets absolutely pounded for ducks, pheasants and deer. Hard to keep a dry boot.

There's no real footpaths or trails. It was very muddy/marshy so you'd need tall waterproof/rubber boots. Probably a nice place for hunting when it's in season. I definitely wouldn't bring children or pets. I also wouldn't use Google Maps to get parking because you can't bring a car in the area you're directed. Use the posted signs along Hwy X to find parking.

I wish they would allow ATV and UTV along county and town roads the sturgeon are pretty cool but they can't lay claim to that because the surgeon have been around for hundreds of thousands of years
