Gold's Gym Patton

This place was awesome when it was first remodeled in 2009 or 2010, back then it was called the Rush, everything was nice and new but the years haven't been great to this place. I recognized some of the same exact equipment from ten years ago. It's a decent gym but could be better.

They need to chill out on the mandatory masks. Also open up all the equipment. Covid has a 99% survival rate. Plus we are all adults and know how to stay 6 feet away from.one another. ud83dude44

The wife and I have been going to this gym the last couple months and it has been very clean, safe, and a great atmosphere to work out in so far! We signed up for the tri pack which gets you started with three sessions with a personal trainer to get you started. Well worth the extra money for people like us that didn't really know where to start. Every staff member I have encountered is super nice and helpful!

I was in town for a month and purchased a weekly pass to workout at this gym. Great experience, good equipment, very clean and covid compliant. I’d become a member if I lived in Asheville and will be back next time I’m in town.

I also just had the gym resume charging me after not communicating to me that they were opening back up. This was on an expired card so they also charged me 20 fees each time they tried to charge it. This is the worst business practice I have ever seen. They did not send any official notifications and said they sent emails. Those emails probably went right to my just folder. I would not recommend them to anyone ever based on this shady business practice. They have threatened to send me to collections if I didn't pay. Believe me when I say I will report them to the necessary agencies.
