BEST MECHANIC IN ASHEVILLE!!!!!!nnWe had a 1996 Buick that had actually not been cranked in a year, Alan at Alans Gulf was recommended to us so we had the car towed to him. Not only did he get the car running perfectly, he worked with us on the payment. Since that time he has continually worked on the car as with any car that has not been use there are small things, but he and his staff have become more than just mechanics, they have become friends. The professionalism, honesty, and no: “well I won’t know until I get in there, price could be very high”. He is straight forward, timely and sticks to his word. If he cannot work on your car because he is backed up he tells you. If you are having a problem he tries his best to look and not charge, he is one of a kind in this day and time. Mechanics usually get a bad rap, charge to much, keep your car forever and never explain what they are doing because keeping you in the dark, so they can jack up the price.nnI recommend anyone to take their vehicles to Alans Gulf, he and his staff is professional, courteous, they explain every detail, and are HONEST! I will NEVER let anyone touch my cars again but Allen...Give him a call today, he is busy, but he will tell you when he can help you, and if it is an emergency, he will do everything in his power to help you...
