Mountain Credit Union

My son has an absolutely horrible credit union in Atlanta, so I told him about MCU and why I valued it. Made me want to come here and say so. Some processes are antiquated, yes, but I appreciate what a credit union is and don't want to support big banks. Big banks, big fees. I'm OK with a tiny bit of inconvenience. I can't DEPOSIT cash to MCU via ATM. If this is something you have to do, it's not for you. But if you want to save hundreds of dollars in fees to keep a checking and saving account, credit unions are for you!

I have had nothing but great experiences with MCU staff. They're always trying to make the banking process easier and find solutions to my problems.nnJust so you know what you're getting into...there are limited amounts of ATMs to choose from. For me, the tradeoff was easy though because I would rather invest in a bank that cares about this community than send my money into the dark recesses of an economy bent on exploitation.

I bank with a credit union out of Atlanta, and have been using Mountain Credit Union for shared branching for the past 7.5 years. I've always found the tellers to be friendly and helpful. They know me by name and always make me feel welcome. I've never had a bad experience and have recommended MCU to several friends in the area. Thanks for the years of smiles, ladies!

I have been a member sincen1998. I have received nothing but excellent service. I have recommended several people to bank here.

Please clean your atm. The buttons are grimy and sticky. It's gross
