Closed due to high waters and did not inform the people that made reservations ahead of schedule. Drove from Baton Rouge for no reason. I was offered free future rentals as compensation but not sure if it makes up for the wasted time on someone's birthday.nnI am sure it's a great experience. I figured calling ahead to make reservations was enough. Call the day of to confirm before you head to the location.
Great staff and wonderful experience on the water. Looked like a clean, healthy, and safe environment with plenty of fish and turtles. No snakes or gators in sight.
I've been here several times over the years, service has always been good. Even though it appears to be a little disorganized/haphazard it seems to work well. Weekends get busy so call ahead, make reservations, and go early in the morning for a less crowded trip.
July 25th was a perfect day for 3 family members' combined birthday celebration with friends floating on the Bogue Chitto!
