Peaks Ice Arena

I've been around to several quality ice skating arenas, including Salt Lake, Nevada and So California, and the Peaks is no exception. The staff is friendly and can help if you ask them for help. I used to skate there quite a bit, but time is what I'm lacking. There are serveral improvements that can be made, but for the price it isn't that bad. I've paid upwards of $8 to skate elsewhere, and the Peaks isn't anywhere near that. They offer lessons, large group discounts and even birthday parties. Drop in hockey was fun, when I could play and they limit the amount of players so everyone has a chance to play so get there early to sign up. If you have any problems with the Peaks, they will try to improve themselves to meet your needs.

Nice facility. It is a bit strange having the weight room/workout area just off the north ice rink do you hear the music a bit during hockey games. The south rink isn't as desirable as seating is sparse and it's hard to see the entire rink so you'd do best to stand to watch. Parking is a challenge here since the facility is used by many not just for hockey.

We went from 7-9pm Public skating and found out it is for more experienced individuals. Not the family experience we were looking for. But still fun and a great well kept arena. It was fun to have the kids watch the hockey game that was going on in the second ice rink.

Amazing skating at an affordable rate. Never been on a rink as nice as the one at peaks ( to be fair, I've never been on a rink that would be considered remotely nice). Nice people, and superb skating.

Fun skating for the family. I will like the rink to change skating directions once in a while. We were fortunate that the rental skates fit adequately.
