These guys have a thankless, tough job. The sanitation department makes a real effort to let the community know about upcoming schedule changes, and they try to get new cans out to clients, when needed, in a timely manner. They're a vital part of our community, and I'm thankful for the important service they provide for us!

My can was blown over in the storm last night and it's full. I called the court house to see if someone could come pick it up. I was told that if the can was laying down that no one would come back to get it. I was told I could take it to Courtland and dump it myself. I can't go to Courtland so maybe I'll leave it on the courthouse steps. I don't care about fines or jail. I want my garbage picked up. I can't help that the wind knocked it over. Thanks for nothing....

I pay on time every month, pay taxes on time every year. However, our garbage can’t be picked up on time every week. It’ll be 1-3 days late. No notice, NOTHING. Then when you call to complain, the next time garbage pickup your garbage cans will get broken or the best one, our garbage ends up on the road. It is ridiculous. Holidays should only be a day late, Nope not here. Maybe hire a Supervisor and Employees who will actually be on time with work. I mean how freakin hard is it to push a button? Do your job, pickup on time or I will no longer pay my bill unless this gets better!! If you can’t do your job get people who can or no payment!!!!

With the amount of taxes I pay to Panola County, MS, I could buy my own garbage truck and haul it to the dump myself. The least these folks could do is pick up my garbage. They pass my can like it's not even there, despite me paying the bill a year in advance. They only way they'll stop is if the can is running over with garbage and then they make a mess that I have to clean up. When I call the sanitation station, I usually get a voicemail that is never checked. The folks who work in the billing office have the nastiest attitude and just route me back to the sanitation station. And I can't even get a credit when my garbage isn't picked up.
