Super friendly staff! Amazingly clean bathrooms and showers. The tie dye t-shirt activity is awesome

Not worth the price, when you get to the campground and find out everything that made you decide on this place is non operational. Our trip started off on a bad note, when we got here (which was at 7:15pm) we find the office closed. Nothing emailed to us about our campsite, all phone numbers for after hours no one would answer. My husband was able to connect with a very nice lady(someone who has a seasonal site near the registration station) who helped him find our paperwork in the night drop box and our campsite. But you shouldn't have to try to call people for a half hour before you just start asking people at a campground how you check in after hours. There should be someone or a on-call rotation for after hours, especially when Encore (the parent company is closed at 7pm CST). Several calls and messages went unanswered and were never followed up on.nThe non-operational stuff: The boat launch is pulled, so you have to go into Fremont and pay to launch your boat there. There was also not any extra boat slips(very few to begin with), so you have to load your boat after each outing. When we got here the pool was closed, they did open it up on Saturday morning, but you had to register for a slot, and you're only allowed to sign up for one slot a day. The arcade was closed, mini golf was open for limited hours only(costs extra fee), and there's no swimming beach on the lake. Oh and it was too hot for the bears, so another disappointing thing for our children. At least they have a jump pad and several playgrounds. They did however have some fun activities like a DJ and a magician for the 4th of July weekend. However, when we checked in, it would have been nice if that was included in our information, we literally found out about both these events from just walking around, which if the campground is paying for this, it might be good to let people know. Literally when the magician was supposed to start there was maybe a dozen people in the pavilion, so he ran around telling people to attend the show. Oh and did I mention the mosquitoes? By far the most vicious mosquitoes of any campground we have visited, not even 40% DEET works on these things.nAt least we were taught something by our experience here, we won't be coming back as we have other favorite campgrounds that are at least upfront about the limited services due to COVID at the time of booking.

Bit pricey for the 1 and half hour of swim time, Water slide only open on Saturday evening from 5-7 why have it then , time before they didnt open it at all before we had to leave, we will not be back, to many to choose from

There is quiet a bit of things to do for children, but for teens and adults? Not so much. The pool is nice when it is hot out though.

This place is way too expensive for what you get. You pay a resort fee but still have to pay for extras on top of it. The roads are all pot holed and there’s goose poop all over the place. We’ve stayed at WAY better places for way cheaper! I would not recommend this place. We won’t be returning.
