I travel often and had a chance to drop into this box when coming through town. I was able to meet the owner and she was incredibly friendly and assisted me in filling out the waiver. This place is not a new box, they've been around since 2007 & the first one in the area. I came just in time to attend the 6 PM class on a Tuesday.nnI had brought a change of clothes so I climbed the steps, which were labeled Crossfit Hattiesburg on every step, up to the second floor where the bathrooms and changing rooms were. There was ample space to change and the bathroom even included a shower. I was happily impressed.nnFirst, the instructor of the class asked for my name and introduced me to the other athletes. General vibe of the box was fun and friendly. The more elite athletes were training to the side and doing a ridiculous WOD:n3rdsn1000m rown30x 24/20 box jump oversn20 deadlifts 225/185n20 strict pullupsn5 minute restnMason & Hailey, experienced athletes, were averaging 8 minutes per round.nnThe rest of us were doing 5RFT:n20 wall ballsn15 pullupsnnI hung out afterwords and goofed around with the athletes & got to know them better. I definitely will be visiting this box again when I'm in the area and if you're lucky enough to be in the area, you should make this place your home!!
