Where to start! Hiring this firm is the absolute best decision I could have ever made for myself and my family! Going through a 3 year long divorce/custody battle that spanned between two states, cost me over 60,000 dollars (before I hired Miller and Fawlkes) and spawned a multitude of lies, false police reports, and 7 frivolous protection/restraining orders that were filed in an effort to over ride court orders and keep my son from me and the family that raised him. Unfortunately at the start of this journey I had hired a different attorney (kulick) and after charging me around 15,000 dollars he obtained an exparte (emergency custody) order for me. He then directed me to leave Mississippi and take my court order to Louisiana and get my son. Upon arriving in Louisiana I was very aggressively informed by there police department that an out of state court order doesn't mean s**** to them. If I want them to enforce it or allow it to be enforceable you first have to file it in the courts of that state. (This turned out to be a relatively simple and inexpensive process when compared to the rest) They sent me back home scared an intimidated. The police then informed my ex wife that I had a custody order and attempted to enforce it which promoted her to pull my son out of school and run with him living hotel room to hotel room for 6 months without letting my chid so much as see day light. due to the actions and incompetence of my first attorney my son was subjected to horrors and far more danger than he was already in as an attorney he should have been far more knowledgeable of the laws especially concerning out of state court orders.nAlso this gave my ex the heads up and opportunity to research ways around abiding by custody orders. Which started the long journey of fighting all the frivolous protection orders. When the police finally tracked her down she would present the protection order stopping them from being able to enforce the custody order untill after I went to court for the protection order which was generally a month later each time. After beating the protection order the process would repeat.. she runs again the police find her attempted to enforce the order just to find out she filed another protection order and on and on..nThis delayed my case and took priceless time with my child from me significantly.nAt this point I'm over 50,000 dollars into this with no reasonable prospect of ever seeing my kid again. This is when I fired my attorney and thank God found the greatest legal team I could ever hope for Billy Miller and Tiffany daniels. There's so so so much more to this case that I don't have space/time to put on here so I'll be brief they charged me a one time extremely reasonable fee and promised to ride this case to the end without charging me more regardless of how long it lasted. I can't tell you how important that was I'd already been sucked dry by all the other attorneys and court costs etc. I was out of money and hope. Billy took my case over and went to work he actually looked through my evidence and compiled it together in a way that when he presented it to the courts it was undeniable she could not lie her way out of this one! I wish I could say more there so much more to be said but Billy and Tiffany took what seemed to be a un winnable hopeless case and made magic they pulled me from the abyss and not only won but got me full soul legal custody plus attorney fees and my ex is being charged with contempt as well as being denied any visitation rights what so ever!nMy family and I are so grateful we were blessed with such an amazing attorney. This was my experience: Mr. Miller assured me that he could expunge all of my convictions from my record. Eventually I called the court and they told me that you can't do it after 2 convictions. Mr. Miller lied to me, charged me $1k, only removed CHARGES (that I could've done for $0 according to the court) not the convictions that he guaranteed he could remove. I personally would never refer this guy to a friend or enemy.
