The new owners are fabulous. We were invited to join their campfire by the store. They transformed a run down property into a beautiful campground. The campground is smaller and it reminded me of a pretty farm. It was great to have a full hook up site. We were very close to town but in a peaceful spot out in the country. There are trains but we enjoyed the sound. Bring ear plugs if u think u need them. The tent sites were very cool. We had a blast and will be back. Bathrooms were super clean and decorated very cute. We loved the two kittens. There is a gorgeous three hole disc golf course. We found a hidden spot to wade by the covered bridge on Covered Bridge Rd.

I went with 2 other female friends and this place was perfect. Julie the owner was very hospitable, the grounds are well kept and the bathrooms clean. It is smaller, but its great if you want to get away from the usual hustle and bustle of a corporate campground. On Saturday evening, there was a one person band for a birthday celebration of one of the owners and we were invited to join their feast. My friends and I will definitely be back. There is even a 3 hole golf course/frisby golf and it is peaceful. Julie was upfront about no place to swim there as of now. But they are working on cleaning their pond. Just a cute campground!

Our first time at Royal Oaks was a great experience. Brian and Julie, the nicest and most helpful people you could ever meet, recently purchased the campground in a run down condition and turned it into a gem with plans to make more improvements. A small campground, that is very peaceful, with a relaxing atmosphere. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We has a great time at Royal Oaks Campground in Waupaca! Quiet, peaceful place and loved the owners, Brian and Julie who were very gracious hosts.nSat around the campfire with them, sharing memories & even learned a new game which was challenging. If you're looking for rest, relaxing quiet, we definitely recommend it!
