Le Cafe’ Beignet

Nice locally owned family restaurant. Limited menu but everything on it is awesome. The beignets are some of the best I've had. Great place for breakfast or lunch. The venue is unique with lots of character. You can inside or outside. Great mimosas and the kids loved their strawberry milk!

First the good: beignets are delicious. Rum sauce was amazing. Atmosphere was pretty cool.nnNext the bad: We thought it different to pay when you order. We realized why when our three orders came out 20 minutes apart! The food is freshly cooked but certainly not worth what they charge. Also we did not come together to eat separately! Had we not paid upfront we would have canceled the last order.nnThe sad thing is they have a lot of potential. I would not go back and would not recommend it to anyone

This place was amazing. The restaurant is charming and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it! No problem with social distancing, we had a little area all to ourselves. We will absolutely be back again.nAnd for all the people complaining about the wait... The food is freshly made and worth the wait. If your in a hurry, there's a McDonald's one block over.

Beautiful architecture in a historic building, nice and cozy setting & attentive staff. However, the quality of the food was a lot less than what I expected from a supposedly gourmet restaurant, certainly not for those steep prices.nAccording to the menu, the French Toast is dipped in egg custard but mine were just some toasted slices of bread with some caramel sauce and a few pieces of fruit on top.

Excellent Cafe! The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. They have really developed a great laid back atmosphere. The coffee and Beignets were perfect. If your looking for a unique experience on the coast I highly recommend Le Cafe’ Beignet.
