On a weekend vacation, we picked this place based on Google maps saying that it would not be busy at 8 am. They were right. This place is an Undiscovered Treasure. The staff is very friendly, and the food was really good! My wife and both ordered the Tot Mess (see photo) and it tasted even better than it looks. The menu is a simple double sided sheet with enough standard items to be familiar and enough unique items to show that this place is no chain. I also loved the decor. I am a fan of the 1980s Golden Oak woodwork and the vaulted tounge & groove pine ceiling. I suspect that the cook and the waitress are the owners. You can just tell by the way they care about what they are presenting to their customers.

My brother and I had supper there recently. The service was great. The server was a nice young lady that was pleasant and efficient. The food was very good also. We enjoyed the experience.

Disappointing Friday Fish Fry. The food we received actually was good. My issue was I ordered the 3 piece walleye dinner for $16. what I received was a one piece dinner. Admittedly it was a large fillet but did not meet expectations from our previous visit. I was told the menu had a typo. Really?My wife ordered the baked haddock. Excellent. At checkout I was charged $18 for the walleye dinner.Published price on the menu is $16. Waitress had no explanation for me. Although the food was good hard to patronize a business that operates like that.

Ate there last Saturday night. Their prime rib is AMAZING. Service was great too. We will be back!

Great fish fry, cheese curds are also delicious. Friendly service. Definitely recommend!
