Camp of the Rising Son

There isn't enough room on this page to go into detail about the Camp of the Rising Son..... ITS SIMPLY AMAZING!!! THE STAFF,THE CURRICULUM, THE SCENERY...... I could go on and on and on..... but u must see it for yourself,!!! My daughter is going to LOVE IT this summer!!!

Great place for the kids. They do all sorts of fun activities. I recommend just wish it wasn't so hot during the summers around here. No ac in the cabins, but still a fun place.

Our boys will be there for their 4th summer in a row and they LOVE it. They spend two weeks every year and would probably enjoy another one if we would let them. Our older son is going on the Adventure Trip this year and then will spend his second week as C.I.A. Growing up and thankful they have had the experience of CRS. They have gone to other camps with youth group/church. All high end, air conditioned cushy places - very nice - very expensive. And still -- they cannot wait to get to CRS. It is hands down the best possible place for them to spend a part of their summer. Down to earth. Christ centered. Loved.

My girls absolutely LOVE and look forward to attending CRS every year! They make great friends and have a wonderful time! The staff are attentive and understand that some may have more difficulty in adjusting away from home than others. It's a Christian camp that is God centered!

This year will be my son's 3rd year to attend and he has been counting down the days. The camp itself is beautiful and the staff is amazing. You will not find a better bargain anywhere in the area for a quality Christian camp. My son prefers all the lake activities (kayaking, canoeing, sailing) and a friend of ours is all about the horseback riding activities.
