Jeff Busby Campground

Bathrooms are closed due to Covid. Only self contained units at this time. It's unusually crowded this weekend also due to Covid, but I love this little Campground. Can't beat the price as well.nBeautiful in the fall. ud83dude0d

A pretty good campsite. I've been here several times. There's no electrical or water hookups but they do have bathrooms.

Always beautiful and well maintained. Trail from pavilion above down to campground is a beautiful half mile walk.

I lived only a few miles from there and that was and is still one of my favorite places to stop at. If you've never been go and walk the trails and go up on look out mountain it's beautiful.

As far as boondocking sites go, this is one of the best. The sites are not marked and that leads to confusion as to exactly where they are versus the road. Most are quite level but are curved pull thrus. No wildlife was observed or heard, not even squirrels or birds... with the exception of an owl hooting way off in the distance.
