Pizzarelli’s Pizzeria

Super good PIZZA!!! It is some of the best pizza I ever had and I just went there for the first time and I am already planning my next visit. Staff incredibly nice and made me feel welcome and like I had been going there for years already. The pizza maker even saw me in there with my son and asked if we wanted it more crispy or not, sensing that my son would prefer something that is easier to chew. For some NY style pizza, you will be impressed!

We have been looking for good thin crust pizza for a couple years now, when we moved near by and found Pizzarelli's it blew us away. Easily our favorite pizza in the city now.

Good food. We did have an error with our order. We ordered a specialty pizza that was made as cheese. The store handled the problem well. I was a bit frustrated that they quoted me 30 min, we got there at 25 min (had 2 small kids with me) and it took almost 45. The cheese garlic bread was pretty crunchy. The thin crust, Chicago style was very good.

The food here is so flavorful and delicious. The owner and family are so friendly. Be prepared to wait some time for your food, but will be worth the wait. Feels good to support a small family restaurant.

I used to love this place, but it's gone downhill. I've had several different issues now with orders. They literally put the wrong cheese on our pizza tonight. When I first called to place the order, they said they were out of mozzarella, then said nevermind & they have enough for ours (first off, how do you run out of mozzarella at a pizza place?) So we get our order, I start eating, and realize it's PROVEL. I have a strong aversion to provel and can't stand it. Also, I order the same thing all the time and know what it tastes like. When I called back, they tried to convince me that it was just the feta melted in. Um, no. I'm attaching a photo, and you can even see the plastic-y shine that is provel on the side. Does it look like the feta got melted in? Very unhappy & waste of money. They really need to get it together on order accuracy, but there won't be any more chances after tonight.
