What a joy it was to join this community during a recent Jewish Holiday. The entire place was welcoming including the staff and Rabbi. As a reform Jewish person myself, I never felt out of place or made less Jewish by the modern Orthodox community. I truly had a wonderful experience!
Many years ago when first exploring Judaism, I visited here for a few weeks. Im a person of color and have encountered an array of reactions when attending a shul. Bias Abe was very welcoming. Friendly Rabbi and congregation, had great discussion with Rabbi and made me feel at home and not like an outsider.
Bais Abe is a warm and welcoming shul with an amazing community. The people are friendly and they have great programming for adult education.
This is the most welcoming experience you will have in St. Louis when you show up for Shabbos. Great Rabbi, friendly members, central location. See you there!
