Ed Bales Park

1st time being here. Went to a friends sons graduation party.nShelter #3 was a challenge to find, until we were driving back the other way (past dog park) and saw the pavilion.

There is a Cricket field in there

It should be a nice park, next to the Dusable Dog Park. However, it isn't monitored very well. If a park ranger came by more often, he would've noticed that the cricket area in between the baseball diamonds was littered with water bottles. My son, father-in-law and I tried to clean it up ourselves, but there was so many that we ended up having to pile it in one spot near the cricket area. The group using the area didn't bother to clean up after they played.nnIt's too bad. There's so much potential for this park, not to mention its proximity to Katy trail and side trails for biking, walking/hiking, and running.

This is a very beautiful place for exploration. Take a lunch here sometime. It's peaceful.
