Shady Springs Park

Too bad they don't keep the portable mounds available for local kids to practice on. This is a little hidden gem because most people don't know it's past the YMCA. Good for the little ones also because it does have a playground with shade. Nice!

Small and convenient. The YMCA needs to realize they're not that big a deal anymore and help with parking. Figure out a deal instead of being selfish as you're one more fitness center away from being closed anyway. Lots of potential memberships you're losing to post signs you can't do anything about anyways.

This is a cool little Park tucked away behind the YMCA in St Peters. It backs to tons of trees and trails that will take you along some pretty impressive waterfalls and down to below the Bluffs. If you walk the bluff line for a short-distance you will see Shady Spring. While it's not too much to look at, it is one of the only known active Springs in St Peters. The playground is really cool and goes up pretty high with some nice slides. There is also a pavilion.

A really nice picnic area with pavilion having 10 tables which can be reserved through Stpetersparks.com and look for Shady Springs Park. There is a nice playground and baseball field.
