Valenti's Delicatessen and Marketplace

With a name like Valenti's, I was expecting to walk in to find a guy named Sal, yelling at me for not having my order ready. Instead, I was greeted by 3 very pleasant young ladies. This kind of put me off, as I don't usually associate friendly faces with good deli food. But this was a nice exception. Very good food. I got the New Yorker (Pastrami) and it was phenomenal. The pasta salad was better than most, because they add a decent amount of feta, so the acidity gets played with. I kinda wish they offered more side options. But the sandwiches more than make up for any minor shortcomings. Fantastic service. Even better food.

Absolutely delicious food with gluten free options! So many choices. Place was neat and clean, staff was courteous and helpful. The outdoor seating in the front made it a perfect quick but enjoyable bite before doing more local shopping.

Grilled Chicken Club - delivered. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender. Fresh ingredients, lettuce, tomato and just the right amount of their house cesar dressing. Yummy!nWasn't impressed by the side of fresh fruit. Usually you receive a small mix of fresh fruit but my sandwich was delivered with a few grapes as my fresh fruit and they weren't in the freshest condition.

I really love the food here! My husband and I go all of the time for breakfast and lunch, and they NEVER disappoint. The owner (I believe) is a kind older gentleman and you can tell he really cares about the place. Very friendly, always tending to things. The reason for 4 stars.. is the consistent rude customer service from some of the ladies. Little eye contact with customers, always seem to busy for questions, small talk.. a smile.. something I feel the owner knows very well and does male a big difference in small business customer service. This would never stop me from going there though... the food is waaaay to good!!

Thought I would try something different today so I chose this place. I got the Italian beef sandwich.... I don't recommend it.
