Imo's Pizza

Its Imos Pizza. You know the pizza is great. The staff at this store is what makes it worth the few extra minutes drive (I live closer to the one on Elm, but drive to this one!). They are so much fun and greet you when you walk in the door. It was late one night, the kitchen was blasting good tunes, the staff was in a great mood and they really made my night. Pizza cooked to perfection and served with a smile. They are awesome and I'll be back.

One of my first experiences at this location, a pick up order, resulted in me finding long hairs in my cheese bread. I decided to let that go because I understand workers are human and mistakes are inevitably made. Tonight though, I ordered delivery. I specifically requested that I did not want my door knocked on, because of the late hour I placed my order. I also mentioned in my request that the drivers tip was inside of my mailbox. They knocked on my door anyways. I know that they read my request, because they took the tip from the mailbox. I don’t understand why they would disregard part of my request, unless it is some sort of store policy. Regardless of policy, customers need to be informed that a request cannot be made. I tried to give this store the benefit of the doubt, but after both of these events, I no longer trust the quality of service. I have had a couple good experiences which made me hopeful, but after tonight, I have lost that. I hope the inconsistencies here can be resolved because I truly Imo’s food and the later hours they accommodate.

What can I say? A classic St Louis establishment .Professional people at this spot. Prices are a bit high, but try their online or lunch special. Occasionally they'll give good deals if you sign up for their email list or online exclusive discounts. If you call ask for the specials but some are online order only. Disregard any reviewers who are from Chicago giving 1 star. They don't know what real pizza tastes like. I'm a vegetarian but I don't go around giving steakhouses 1-star reviews; neither should people from Chicago who know they're ordering St Louis style pizza that they don't like give bad reviews.

Pizza was great

We really like Imo's Pizza but it costs significantly more than the other orders that we get from Pizza Hut, Domino's, & Papa John's. We just got 2 large pizzas, toasted raviolis, & cheese garlic bread from Imo's and it cost the same as 4 large pizzas & 2 P'zones from Pizza Hut, for a lot less food. Imo's pizzas & side items are better to us than those other places so sometimes this is worth it to us. Also, if you've never had Provel cheese on a pizza then this tastes different than any of those pizzas. Our grandson who grew up elsewhere won't eat Imo's pizza because he doesn't like the cheese.
