St. Charles MMA and BJJ

This has recently become my home! Years in and out of martial arts schools and MMA gyms I never really felt at home like I did in my school back in NYC. Been about 4 months at SCMMA and I love it!!! It’s hard core yet so welcoming - and I am most impressed with how women are treated...unfortunately women are not welcome or treated as equals in all MMA gyms...SCMMA sets the standard with their expert instruction and amazing inclusion of all types of people. I can honestly say every single instructor is amazingly talented, very professional and really supportive of women training hard ...especially if you want to fight. I found my tribe!

Best gym I've ever been to hands down. The staff is amazing. Very welcoming and friendly! You guys are awesome! Keep it up.

Great gym with an amazing community. There’s always someone ready and willing to help you with anything you need, inside the gym and out. Wide array of classes geared towards any experience level, from brand new beginner to professional athlete.

As someone who had never done bjj, I was nervous to try it out but was instantly relieved when I felt how welcoming everyone was. It has that classic gym family feel that seems rare. Lucky to be a part of it!!
