Once Upon A Time is an enchanting little shoppe located on Main Street St. Charles, brimming with fantasy and folklore. Whether it's nostalgic memorabilia from a favorite childhood fairy tale, beautifully crafted jewelry, aromatic hand crafted candles, or a new wand for the wizard or witch in all of us! The owner Amanda is an absolute delight, and can often be found telling the intriguing history or folklore surrounding a particular stone or story found in her shop. Make sure you stop by!

Found this gem of a store through mutual friends with the owner and proprietor Amanda! Absolutely love her and this place. Fairey tales come to life for children here and there is something for adults as well with 221B Baker Street, Game Of Thrones, Dr. Who, and the like. Something for everyone. A definite stop every time I go to Old St. Charles.

This store is magical. Great for fans of fairytales and pop culture, like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Disney. The best part of this shop is the handcrafted items made by the owner, like candles and body oil. I think the prices are great and the owner is so nice. I don't live in St. Charles but I always make a trip to visit when I'm in town!

What a cool little gem of a store! A little hard to find at first--into the little courtyard, follow the little signs to the right, then up the stairs with purple lights, and it's the door on the left. The owner is really friendly and makes many of the items she sells herself so they are unique and authentic. If you or someone you know likes fantasy, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and similar stories, then this place is a perfect stop along Main Street or destination.
