This might be the only candy shop on Main Street that actually makes candy in house.nnThe ice cream is also excellent. It is the perfect texture and tastes great.nnThe staff are patient, friendly and appear to be happy to serve you.nnThe gentleman who was making caramel, explained what he was doing and how the process works.nnThis is a sweet find on Main Street.
We love Kilwins and we used to stop by pretty frequently before covid. We came in to finally enjoy some of their ice cream again and unfortunately one of the three employees was wearing a mesh mask. Obviously no one has complain and/or the owner doesn't care but if you are someone taking precautions, you should probably go else.
It seems to attract a crowd people. I only tried the ice cream and it was just ok and pricey. I tried the cherry and the turtle ice cream...update on March 2021 I came back and tried their chocolates and it was pretty good...
Fudge and candy and ice cream.. oh my!nYou must get strawberry chunk! Best tasting ever!nGreat way to end a trip to downtown St Charles!
