English Landing Park

Cool little Park right on the Missouri River. Check out the little town of Parkville, and it's Pubs and Shops. All within walking distance, and lots of parking. This seems to be a safe place to bring the kids or dogs ud83dudc36. There is a paved for several miles right along the banks of the river, if you are feeling energetic and adventurous. Anyway, if you're in the area, stop in and smell the coffee.

Nice family/walking park next to the MO river. Quaint setting near Parkville. Gets a little too crowded at times but peaceful during lower volume times. Nice sunset view above the river.

I have always loved this park. I am particularly glad to see all the updates in the last couple years: improved paths, new restrooms, new playground equipment, tennis courts, sand volleyball and even basketball courts. Just a great outdoor space.

One of the best places to walk/run in the northland. Its fairly flat and the view of the river is awesome! I take my son in his stroller and he's constantly looking out for the trains. Parking is plentiful and free. Bonus there are great playgrounds for the kids. Oh, there are also picnic pavilions and even a stage.

We really enjoy coming and playing disc golf. However, due to recent upgrades in the park, two of the holes were removed. We hope they will resolve this some time this spring as it is only a 9-hole course in the first place.
