Line Creek Trailhead

Nice urban area to get some exercise on a paved trail plenty of parking not far from I-29, waterfalls! Recreational center as well in the area and a mini train one can ride when running. Good for kids, hard on the ears.

Great place, but sadly the amount of cyclists that don’t announce their approach, versus those that do, is very high. Today two different cyclists on road bikes passed at high speed with no alert, and two men riding together didn’t alert, or go single file when passing walkers (I encountered them twice).

Beautiful trail!

We usually prefer dirt trails, but since having a baby the wide paved trail at line creek has been a blessing and I barely miss getting out on a real hike!

Love Line Creek any time of year for spending outside time with my dog. The paved trail is easy to walk, ride a bike or push a stroller and the scenery and wildlife viewing can't be beat!
