Price-Rite Market & Deli - "The Little Store"

All I Can Say Is WOW!nnTwo times in the last couple of days on this forum I have seen other people post about price rite on northwest Waukomis. One of them was in regards to a meatball sub and the other was in regards to a BLT. Now I am well familiar with this place and its location because back in the 90s I drove by it every single day on my way to work at the airport. But in those days they weren't serving cooked food most of it was beer and convenience store items. Not anymore!nnNot only do they have prepared food they also still have canned foods and beer and alcohol along with a whole lot of fresh vegetables. And to that add deli meats by the pound and a whole rack of pasta and a cooler full of other prepared food items.nnI ordered the Meat Ball Sub and you have no idea how glad I am that I did. As you can see by the pictures, they take about a 9 inch loaf of bread slice it down the middle, put in four meatballs, cover it with marinara sauce, pile on some cheese, and melt it all together! Incredible flavors! When you bite into the sandwich the first thing you notice is the freshness of the bread it is almost as if it was baked 5 minutes before they made the sandwich. Then you get the sweetness of the marinara and a taste off savory, light, fluffy well flavored meatball, followed by the ooey gooey cheese!nnThe sub, a bag of ships, and a bottle of water set me back $7.99!

We have always loved this store for its convenience and quaintness! Their pizza is delicious-They always have good deals! I just tried their turkey bacon pesto Panini today and it is amazing-way better than anything I’ve ever had from Panera!

At one time this was the best pizza in the northland but my last three pizzas have had burnt toppings and over toasted crust . All I can say is I'm disappointed in my last couple of visits. Here's hoping they get a new pizza cook!

I had an issue with a to go order last week. My husband called, girl that answered the phone was not helpful. Since then, I talked to the owner, Santo, and he could not have been nicer. He was apologetic, listened to my frustration and offered to make the situation right. We will definitely be returning to this place after speaking to Santo.

First time in to buy a gift certificate for my friend who goes there all the time. Thought I would try a piece of the pizza I have heard about. It was Awesome. Crisp and delicious. Will be back to buy a whole pizza soon
