Sail Selina II

We had an excellent moonlight sail with Captain Matt and First Mate Charlie. It didn’t hurt that it was a beautiful clear summer night when it came to stargazing! The sail far exceeded all of our expectations. From the sail itself, to the identification of the plants and constellations and the significance to the ancient calendars, to the waters calm serenity. It was the most enjoyable 2 hours of our weekend. We highly recommend this excursion.

We went for a restful sail in the early afternoon. We were fortunate that the weather was perfect.nnThere were 2 other couples but the boat is quite wide so we could easily practice social distancing.nnOur captain was Iris, the owner of Selina II. During our 2-hour sail she shared the history of the boat which has been in her family since 1926. She also talked a lot about the environmental issues facing the Chesapeake.nnWould recommend for all visitors to St. Michaels.

Highlight of our anniversary get-away to St. Michaels. We thoroughly enjoyed our two hours on the bay. Captain Jesse and Mate Charlie are experienced sailors, knowledgeable tour guides, and hospitable and friendly hosts. Couldn't ask for a better crew to take us out. If you visit St. Michaels, especially if it's your first time, you've got to go sailing on this beautiful boat.

This was a fantastic cruise. Fun, educational and relaxing. The crew took the coronavirus serious and did everything to ensure safe, sanitized social distancing. The crew was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the history of both the Selina II and the St. Michael's harbor. Highly recommend a sail on the Selina II

Capped off our weeklong vacation with a toast on the Bay. My husband and I joined two other fun-loving couples on the Sunset Cruise. The captain and his first mate were welcoming and accommodating from the start to finish. We learned about the history of the boat and sights along the tour. There were moments of tranquility as we glided through the water and watched the sunset. Highly recommend.
