It was a bad day...it rained the day before so trails a little muddy. But overall it was alright.
Loved it, nice trails, birders paradise!
So glad the trails have reopened. Had a great time hiking today, May 30, 2020. Be sure to check yourself for ticks afterward, I found 4 on me.
Nice discovery. Nice walking trails. A lot of wildlife.
Pickering Creek has loads of opportunities for community involvement such as bird banding, community outreach’s such as Harvest Hoedown, and Junior Naturalist Camp Counselors. A perfect serene environment to explore the different habitats of our home, from marshes to pine forest and fields to streams. I recommend the EcoCamp & Junior Naturalist programs for children and high schoolers. Pickering Creek highly benefits our community environmentally, morally, and supportively. Not a single complaint.
