The place was good but the staf does not take care of their customer properly

Could have been a really great learning experience, but some of the staff members currently onboard the Schooner Sultana are not very good with kids. There was entirely too much yelling and sarcasm directed at small children. The whole point of interactive, experiential learning is lost when you can't look at or touch anything without being screamed at. Also, visitors are not allowed to look around and enjoy the beautiful scenery while listening to the lectures that begin shortly after you leave the dock. If you dare to even turn your head, they will stop the lecture and yell at everyone to look forward before they will resume the lesson. Just really ruined the whole experience for our group.

What a fabulous day! RES kids, as well as parents, had fun with tons of hands-on experiences. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!!! Thanks so much.

The five day long youth expedition was a great learning experience for our son, and it was the first time that he had been on a sailing vessel for this length of time.nnHe came back full of stories and still keeps in contact with newfound friends from the trip. He also came back with a taste for hot sauce... one of the captain's favorite things, or so we have been told.nnExcellent experience.
