Been a member for over 7 years and a friend of the TE community for 25 years.nnThis is a wonderful community of decent, caring, and friendly people. Very community oriented. And very good for inter-faith couples.nnWe are very happy to be hear. Everyone is very supportive when life events occur. This was a grest decision for our family!

My wife and I were first welcomed openly in 1965 when I served in the Army Medical Service at Walter Reed. After a period of reassignment , we returned in 1998 to become permanent members of Temple Emanuel. It is a wonderfully caring, accepting and inclusive community with a genuine passion for human rights and social justice.

Very welcoming community that values diversity and openness. The new Rabbi is superb and a Cantor who has such a beautiful voice.
