I use the store often and normally have no problem. Today I couldn't get the shrimp I wanted even though the fish man told me I had the right bag. I could not get a rain check very disappointing. According to the checkout person you no longer give out rain checks. It's not my fault you're not properly stocked I understand why offer a few day sale and then not have it halfway through the sale dates

Closest store to my home base. Excellent variety except for meat. Been almost a year in covid and meat selection is small compared to other large stores. On the plus side, they have a Starbucks

This Safeway I am giving 4 stars based almost solely on their Pharmacy staff I am horrible with names and do not like to describe people based on race so I will just say the tech I believe is a man in his 40's and the pharmacist you is a young lady who I will say are both friendly and most importanrly knowledgeable and upfront with any issues concerning your prescriptions and/or insurance. The store its self has a large clearence section and and a 99cent aisle but carts are horrible and must get an attendant to unlock bathroom so I wont say hood but it is what it is.....

Just the worst grocery store I’ve ever been to.nnEDIT 1/29/21: Folks got ROBBED at GUNPOINt! I’ve been hearing how unsafe this safeway can be and now it’s a headline. It happened at 8:30pm on the 27th, while the store was still open, on their property. It’s in the Capital Gazette too.
