The price has significantly increased since 2019. The monthly cost to stay was around $560. Very reasonable prices for what you DON'T get at this park. Now, as of January 2021 the monthly cost will be $900. The same price as the other RV park, Shore Park.nThe problem is, is that the two parks do not offer the same amenities. Marylander does NOT have a laundry facility, bathrooms and showers, pool, pavilions, playground, volleyball or a beautiful lake to view and easy access and walk to the beach, do boating, canoeing, swimming, etc... like Shore Park offers.nnAs a matter of fact, since being in Marylander since November 2019, we've experienced a lot of construction and seeing construction trucks parked everywhere and now the newest construction of the fence, which NOW there's NO privacy between RVers and OFF post housing. We can see their filthy backyards, watch them partying all night. The smell of Marijuana is even more intense now and they cat call some of the woman going to the trash can, making inappropriate comments and watching us anytime we are outside. Extremely uncomfortable.nnMowers are a hit or miss, so be prepared to mow your own lawn. The TICKS are awful over here. Since they don't stay on top of mowing, it didn't take long for the ticks to make their way into the tall grass. I was constantly picking ticks off my kids, pets and us adults the entire summer. I literally have a jar that I collected of ticks, because there were so many we were worried about limes disease, so I kept them just in case.nnThey recently (this past month) just put in wifi that no one needs, because we all have our own already. There's absolutely nothing over here. There's nothing to do here. And because of all the construction going on, it's a complete disaster over here.nnIt is absolutely not even remotely close to being worth $900 a month here. If you're going to pay $900 a month, then go stay at Shore Park, because Marylander is surely not worth it. You could also do your research and stay at other parks off post that offer way more than on base right now. Forest Hill has everything Shore Park does and they have propane on site and a convenient store with RV wants or needs. You can also rent outdoor stuff for free. You also don't have to move your RV every 30-60 days like you do here at off post RV parks. Although due to COVID we don't have to move right now, but we usually have to.nnWe moved from Shore Park due to all the speeders coming through there. Anyone can go through Shore Park, it's not blocked off. We came to Marylander, to get away from the speeders and although we don't deal with speeders, we have dealt with constant construction behind us all year and the new fence construction. Not my idea of fun or peacefully camping in the outdoors. Especially now that we can see all the off post neighbors. It doesn't feel like camping in nature anymore, we feel like we are camping in someone's backyard.nnBoth parks have heat tape for your waterline in the winter, but you'll still definitely need a heated water hose, because the tape will not stop the water from freezing.nnThere's no propane on site and in the winter time you'll go through about $200 a month in heat. You'll need to salt and shovel your own driveway. So come prepared when staying during the winter. There's a gas station up the road. Shore Park is about 5 minutes from Marylander. Shore Parks laundry facility is operated by a laundry card you can only fill and put money on at the outdoor rec building, which is inconvenient if you can't fill your card until after hours. Their washing and drying machines are older. They only have 2 washers and 2 dryers.nnI've done a LOT of research in other areas for RV parks and prices and even priced MANY MWR RV parks and I can tell you, especially Marylander not having anything, that $900 a month is definitely way over priced.nnAgain, stay in Shore Park where you have everything and are literally a walk away from the outdoor rec building and avoid Marylander all together or stay off post. It's over priced here by a long shot.

Attempted to make reservations and was told I need to go online, print and sign their policy and email it to them prior to making reservations. I asked if I could do it there and was told no. So much for supporting those that travel for a night or two. Do they realize we are often in RVs? I have never experienced a dumber policy and have stayed in famcamps coast to coast. Pure silliness.

Great place (I like The Marylander RV Park better than the other one). The reason for the 4 stars versus 5 was because, for a few weeks solid, I couldn't reach ONE person at APG MWR to make reservations. It was frustrating and pathetic, and, only after filing an ICE Complaint did I get in touch with anyone. Within 15 minutes of filing the ICE Complaint, I was contacted and was able to make reservations. It shouldn't have to be that way.
