Hollofield Campground

I love campgrounds that accommodate RVs and have direct access to trails. The hill you have to go up to come in and down to get out is definitely intimidating as other reviews mention, but it's doable. I forgot to check the grade going down as I intended to do, but it's serious. I dropped into a lower gear and just went super slow. But not a place you want to discover your brakes are bad. ud83dude06

We stayed in 452 Hollofield. Fire pit. Very clean. Rocky ground to lay your tent! Some driveways on a hill. Some not. Some VERY near to neighborhood. Ours wasn't. Didn't even see bathhouse b/c we bring our own toilet & water station. TMI!ud83dude1d Large playground. Close to restaurants, coffee---yay!---grocery stores and, and park of course. Very convenient. Rangers late into the night. Not 24/7 though. Pretty secure. Would definitely come back. Eat at Ledos! Swinging bridge! Cascade falls trail epic. ud83dudc4a Bring hiking boots for that one. Wet!

One of the best campgrounds. Ample space. Nice and quiet.

Bring fire starters...lots of fire starters. You have to buy firewood there and it is very green. You're not going to get a fire going quickly with paper scraps and cardboard. Leaves are turning, so the place looks great.

A pretty area, nice park with lots of great features.nSadly, the Bathhouse is a disgrace. Shower drain clogged, shower area needs a decent cleaning Long overdue renovation.
