The DOG PARK area is a sandy beach where dogs & the owners can get in the water. The beach is beautiful and we'll cared for. There are NO facilities for drinking water or restrooms & there is no place to get the sand off your dog. (Note there may be restrooms in the human side if the park (dogs not allowed), but I haven't verified that. If you're goal is just have fun with your dog, you'll love this park. Note to get to the dog beach, you walk alongside the fenced area & make a short trek through a pretty, wooded area to get to the dog beach. Definitely plan to do this again.

We went to the park with our kids, grandsons and granddog. There is a dog beach in the narrower part of the beach. The dogs have to be walked in on a separate path. There were a lot of dogs there but no problems. The water is shallow a long way out but our paddle boards worked just fine. There is a trailer restroom that is decent. The parking lot is small but adequate.

Great place for the dogs to play in the sand and surf. There's enough space for multiple families. The path to the beach thru the woods has a few deep steps.

Ok spot but very small beach. I preferred Terrapin Beach on the other side of the bridge. Restrooms were locked. There was one porta potty in the parking lot with no hand sanitizer.

Great dog beach! If you get there early you can easily find a parking spot. The hike is really short and not a problem to bring chairs and/or coolers. The water is shallow, so you can walk far into the water with your dog!
