Bay Venture Outfitters

Rented 3 kayaks and had a great time. We camped at Elk Neck campground and they delivered the kayaks to our campsite ( and picked them up) and had some suggestions as to the best place to put the kayaks in the water. They were friendly, knowledgeable and responsive to questions prior to our visit also. Definately recommend them and will go back.

A friend and I rented stand up paddleboards for an hour on a Saturday morning. Process was smooth and easy (do your paperwork online before you get there). The staff helped us get set up and gave a quick lesson, then sent us out on the water. They'll give you a map of the area if you want one. They followed COVID-19 cleaning guidelines and the staff were all wearing masks. The equipment is all in great condition. Will definitely be back!

I am not new to kayaking however, I haven't done it solo. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to do my first solo kayaking experience through Bay Venture Outfitters. They were super organized and personable. I was able to get into a kayak and on the water in no time. I was provided with an easy to follow map of the waterways with descriptions. The water was very calm and if you venture further into the open water area, you may encounter rough water. I would highly recommend this company for anyone who wants to have a worthwhile kayaking experience.

Had a great experience renting paddleboards from these folks. Super friendly and helpful. It was clearly important to them that we enjoyed our time on the bay and were willing to help in any way to make that happen. Would definitely recommend and go here again.

Rented 3 solo kayaks on 9/13/20 and had a great time. The staff was very helpful especially with my wife who is paralyzed in her legs. She really enjoyed getting out on the water. The location was beautiful, the equipment was clean and in good repair.
